YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The pandemic has increased the need for mental health care providers and Advanced Counseling Solutions has responded by adding a third location at 3974 Boardman-Canfield Road, Canfield.
The new facility is the first in northeast Ohio that applies a holistic approach to overall individual wellness.
It joins Advanced Counseling Solutions locations at 5204 Mahoning Ave., Austintown; and 1025 Boardman Road Canfield, Boardman.
According to Dr. Joseph Marzano, President, Advanced Counseling Solutions is a leading source in the Mahoning Valley for teaching traditional outpatient mental health to new clinicians.
Traditional outpatient services and psychological education are also provided, including specialties such as medicine management, nutritional consultation, life coaching, sports performance counseling and corporate consultation.
“My new passion is teaching new clinicians how to break into the private arena and not just survive, but thrive,” says Marzano. “When people say it’s not possible to deal with mental health without stigma, I can tell you it’s absolutely true.”
At this phase of his career, Marzano says he has two main goals.
The first is to provide clinically superior ambulatory mental health.
Its second goal is to support and develop quality professional clinicians who practice with methods that well represent the field of counseling psychology.
“In this, I hope to further remove the stigma of mental health for people who fear it because they had or heard of bad experiences in their first attempts to get the help they need,” he said. said Marzano.
Advanced Counseling Solutions is a private organization of 27 mental health providers.
Primary services focus on anxiety, depression, work stress management, adolescent developmental issues, sleep disorders, family and marriage counseling, relationship counseling, mediation and more.
