The Wise Health System Emotional Wellness Center and Counseling Center Tough Enough to Wear Pink in Decatur celebrated their first anniversary Monday at their location at 1602 W. Business 380, Suite 100 in Decatur.
To mark the milestone, local artist and cancer survivor Olivia Bennett unveiled her custom artwork. She collaborated with patients and counselors at the center to bring to life a vibrant canvas full of flowers.
The Emotional Wellness Center opened in 2019 and in 2021 affiliated with Tough Enough to Wear Pink, a breast cancer awareness organization. The center has provided comprehensive services and programs that address breast cancer diagnosis, body image, anxiety, spirituality and more.
Decatur-based Twisted X contributed $1.2 million for the flagship center.
