Laura Grayson joins Daktronics in airport business development


Daktronics of Brookings, South Dakota, announces that Laura Hope Grayson is joining the growing transportation business unit in the role of business development – airports. Grayson will help the company expand its current presence in the market by focusing on building partnerships to help airports deploy Daktronics’ latest indoor video products.

“Laura’s enthusiasm, understanding of the airport ecosystem and track record of providing bespoke solutions to airports will provide our customers with greater value and understanding of how LED displays can leverage and enhance other systems,” said Kevin Palmeter, aerospace market manager at Daktronics. “As airports continue to embrace data and technology in their drive to deliver a frictionless passenger experience, Daktronics is well positioned to help airports with our wide range of LED video display solutions for the industry.”

As part of its business development efforts, Grayson will establish partnerships within the aerospace industry, increasing the knowledge and effective application of LED display technology. This will allow airport operators to better understand how dynamic signage can improve the passenger experience in existing terminals and aid in the effective planning of future developments.

“I am extremely excited and energized to take on this new role to help Daktronics deliver innovative LED display solutions to the aviation market,” said Grayson. “I’ve been in the industry since 1994 and recently returned to the US after expatriating to Shanghai and Dubai for the past 7.5 years.
