At NIIT, Shankar will be responsible for the end-to-end marketing function for the vocational training sector. His main responsibilities will be to organize the NIIT Digital course by redefining brand strategy and communication as well as leading digital, performance marketing and media buying.
Shankar brings 15 years of extensive marketing experience including branding, media planning, consumer insight and channel marketing. His last assignment was at Max Bupa Health Insurance as Head of Brand and Digital Marketing. Prior to that, Shankar was associated with Kantar TNS and Evalueserve where he conducted various market research in categories such as FMCG, Automotive and Insurance.
